You should not be down to one transporter
Most businesses in this region move goods with whoever they happen to know, at whatever that person quotes, because finding a second option is harder than accepting the first. That is as true for a delivery three hundred kilometres away as for one three borders away. Mashofe.com is the second option, and the third.
Note the return leg and you will pay less
If you have anything coming back on the same lane - even for a different customer, even loosely - say so when you post. A transporter reading a leg that pays both ways will quote you differently from one reading a leg that pays once and then drives home empty. It costs you nothing to mention and it is the single strongest lever you have on the rate.
Four steps and none of them are yours to chase
You post the leg
Origin, destination, what it is, how heavy, when it loads and what truck it needs. Same country or not - both work. About a minute. Free.
It goes on the board
Without your company name or your number. Operators across twelve SADC markets can see the work but not your business.
Operators ask for it
Each one tells us the truck, where it is standing and when it can load. We check they are real.
You are introduced
On WhatsApp, inside one business day. You agree the rate and the terms directly with the transporter.
Domestic or cross-border - choose before you search
Both live on this board and they behave nothing alike. One has a border on it and one does not, and everything from permits to paperwork to who else you need follows from that.
Being a verified shipper will be worth more than you think
Every freight platform checks the trucks. Almost none check the company paying for the load. Ask any operator in this region what frightens them more - a bad load or a shipper who does not pay - and you will get the same answer every time.
A verified shipper on Mashofe.com will get better trucks, faster, and often at a better rate, for exactly that reason. Verification is a check on your registration and your trading history, not a credit rating, and it is not a condition of using the board.
Questions people ask
Will my competitors see what I am moving?
They will see that a load of that commodity is running on that lane. They will not see your company name, your customer, your contact details or your rate. That is the deliberate split: enough for a transporter to price the job, not enough to read your supply chain.
Does it cost me anything to post?
No. Posting is always free. Mashofe.com's trip commission falls on whoever takes a match - so when a transporter takes your posted load, they carry it. You only carry a commission if you go the other way and take a truck that was already posted on the board.
How many transporters will contact me?
None directly. Operators request the introduction through Mashofe.com and you are introduced to the ones worth your time. Your number is never on the board.
I only move goods inside my own country. Is this useful?
Yes, and it is about half of what is on the board. Domestic legs have their own filter and their own trunk route notes. There is no border element to any of it.
Is Mashofe.com responsible if my cargo is lost or damaged?
No. Mashofe.com is an introducer, takes no custody of goods and gives no warranty of any transporter's performance. Carry your own goods-in-transit cover and confirm the transporter's cover before the truck loads.
What your consignment will meet on the way
Open the route your cargo takes and read the documents you will be asked for, the transit time to expect and where the delays actually happen.
Transit times and dwell are what operators on these routes report, not a guarantee. Permits and documents are the shipper's and the transporter's responsibility - Mashofe.com does not lodge, clear or carry anything.
