More work through your post, booked before the truck arrives
Every cross-border load on this board has to be cleared by somebody, and that somebody should be you. List the crossings you work and your desk goes in front of the transporter while the truck is still on the road. Listing is free, and an agent is never charged a trip commission.
The same deal the other two sides get
There is nothing special about how an agent is treated here. A transporter is looking to be introduced to cargo. A shipper is looking to be introduced to a truck. You are looking to be introduced to cross-border work. Three sides, one mechanic.
ListingFree
- Your desk on the board by border post and by service
- Named, because a name at a post is the reputation
- Offered against every cross-border load crossing where you work
- Direct number withheld until the introduction is made
Trip commissionTiered by trip value
- Charged only when you take a job that came off this board
- Paid by whoever takes the match, on the same terms as the other sides
- The percentage falls as the trip value rises
- No job, no charge - a listing that produces nothing costs nothing
VerificationOn subscription
- Customs licence and bond facility to be checked and held, never published
- The verified plate on every listing you carry, once verification is running
- First position in the introduction queue at your posts
- To be re-checked rather than taken on trust once and forgotten
Only the crossings you actually work
A load on this board carries its border post. Your desk is only ever offered against a post you told us you work at - never against a domestic leg, which has no border and needs no agent, and never against a crossing you do not cover. An honest list of posts is a shorter road to real work than a long one.
Every other load board stops at the border
The freight platforms working this region match cargo to trucks and leave it there. That is fine on a domestic leg. On a cross-border leg it leaves out the party who decides whether the load moves at all, because a truck standing at Beitbridge with the wrong paperwork is not a transport problem, it is a clearing problem.
So the clearing desk is a full participant here rather than a directory entry. You list against the border posts you actually work, and every cross-border load crossing there is offered to you. A shipper looking at a Kazungula leg sees the desks that clear Kazungula in the same view as the trucks that run it. That is the whole argument for putting three sides on one board instead of two.
